After 1 year and 7 months… we have come to a Local Collective Agreement that your Negotiating Committee would like to present to the Members for Ratification.
With all the ups & downs Provincially & Locally there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

We have 60 pages of signed off items that we finally were able to settle on by our Board & Local Union.
These “Items” need to be presented to the members to Ratify (accept) to create a NEW Collective Agreement or decline and go back to the table and enter into possible job action, lock-out by the Board or strike.

If we Ratify and accept the presented “Items” this will become our New Collective Agreement along with the Provincial “Items”; together they will create ONE Local 3166 New Collective Agreement.
All NEW “Items” Both Provincial & Local will go into effect in 30 days if we Ratify.

Meaning, the 1% will be added to your Pay in 30 days retro from September 1st, 2015 to June 30th as a “lump sum”.   Then your first pay in returning in September 2016 will reflect 1% on every pay thereafter.  February  2017 the 0.5% until renewal of our Collective Agreement August 31, 2017.
Yes, only one short year later we are back to the table, August 31, 2017! 
